Some background - All DiMeglio's come from one place in Italy, Ischia, a beautiful island in the bay of Naples (www.ischiaonline.com) north of Capri. Although I was born in the USA i spent my summers growing up there. The "Di" prefix is distinctive to the Naples area as further north "Da" is used and further south "De" is used. DiMeglio literally means "The Best," to the best of my knowledge the name originated in the 15th century as a title for purveyors to the local royal courts.
