Victor A. DiMaria, age 88,
died Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Golden Living Western Reserve following an extended illness.
He was born July 28, 1919 in Erie, a son of the late Sebastian and Angeline DeSiati DiMaria.
He had served in the United States Amy during World War II. He was retired from the railroad. He was a member of the VFW and Disabled American Veterans. He was preceded in death by a brother John DiMaria
and a sister, Helen Rizzo.
He is survived by one brother, Anthony DiMaria
and one niece, Angela Colegrande and her husband Dennis,
and one nephew, Edward Rizzo and his wife Lisa.
Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Robert Johns Chapter #73, P O Box 3415, Erie, PA 16508.
