Hello,

My family is from Polizzi Generosa, Sicily. I have several Di Bella's in my family tree including Ignazia Di Bella married to Luigi Rubbé and Pietra Di Bella married to Errico Rubbé, all in the early 1800's. We are just starting to explore this part of our family tree and I am interested in reaching any other Di Bella family members who feel they may be related. My direct email is jennajlr@aol.com

Hello,

So far we have found two Di Bella names in our family. I have Ignazia Di Bella born in 1808 and married to Luiggi Rubbé. Their son Errico Rubbé married a Pietra Di Bella. All are from Polizzi Generosa in Sicily.

My Grandmother was a DiBella, Guiseppina and was born in a small town at the base of Mt. Etna, called Linera. she came from a family of 11 brothers and sisters and the family baked bread for the town. My grandmother left Sicily when she was 19 and landed in New York City. Some of my grandmothers brothers and sisters names were Grace, Salvatore, Maria, Rose and I think Paolo. My grandmother married in NYC and had two daughters named Maria & Rose.
Anyone that feels they are remotely related please respond to this post. My email address, r.troia@comcast.net.
