Terrozina was from Italy, My 3rd gr. grandfather Absalom Samples took her in and she married William "Big Hossie" or "Hossie Bill" and died during childbirth with twins. I have lots of info but no photo's. Does anyone have any?

Caroline Dezarn married James H Davis and lived in Green County and is burried in Buffalo Ky She was Elijah Dezarn's daughter.

Anyone have any relation to these people? My great grandmother was Rose E. Dezarn. Her parents were Clarence & I'm guessing Alice, according to the 1930 census records. There are other children listed as well: Rose E., Nellie M., Gilbert, Myrtle E., and a Stepson Charlie Bowling. There's also a nephew listed, Denley Hornsby, and a brother-in-law, Simon Furner. I am very confused by all of this, because Rose's Mom is definitely Alice, but Gilbert's Mom is on record as being a Susie Hornsby. I don't know if there was some inbreeding going on, or if something is mixed up somehow! Please email me at mpdryden@dragonbbs.com
By-the-way, my Grandmother's name was Betty L. Wheeldon, she was Rose & William Wheeldon's daughter.

Hello June, This is strange, my middle name is June.. I don't know your Grand Mother but the name sounds like some of the past dezarns, maybe passed down from generation to generation. The Dezarns I am related to are from Green Co Ky. There is a Cemetary that has my ancestors in and it is the Dezarn Cemetary, with a Chapel. If you are ever in Green County look it up it is very interesting.

Albert Hayden Dezern b. 1925 & sistor ann & brothers dennis & Louis were all put up for adoption,
their father was Albert Dezern b. abt 1890 & mother Maude?

Hi Violet,
I called you last month and when we talked we didn't have a connection, but you gave me another phone number to call which I did and "we did have a family connection. The bad part is I got hurt at work, couldn't walk for a time, lost and forgot the name of the person you put me in contact with, did send her copies of the Wise's in my family and would like to contact her again. When I talked to her she was out gardening and I believe she lived in Ky. Does any of this ring a BELLLLLLLL ;-)

I am descended on my mother's side from the Dezarns you are tracing. I have only a small amount of information and seeing as how you posted this message last Nov., you probably have already found what you are looking for. My mother has spoken often of "Mot" and I know she was the sister of James Walter Dezarn. Martha and James's daughter Lula Walker the lady my mother called Aunt Lula. My mother's father was Jasper Eustice Mayes, son of William David Mayes and Martha Elam Dezern.
