I am attempting to trace the parents of Anne DeWitt b. ca 1784-1785 who married John Addison Delamater in Ulster, New York (of which I am still trying to find a marriage record though I have census sources to prove this union and children).

One researcher has listed Johannes/John C. DeWitt b. 1755 and Cornelia Cantine (Kantein) b. 1757. I can find proof of this union and that they had a daughter, listed as Anne, in christening records (06 Nov 1785). I also have another prospective set of parents, Johannes A. DeWitt b. 1758 m. Rachel Wempel b. 1761. Likewise I have found a christening record for an Antje DeWitt that fits the birth date time.

Does anyone know anything about this Anne or these prospective parents? Even if I can disprove one or both of these parental lines by showing that their Anne married someone other than John A. Delamater, that would be helpful.
