Hi all Devlins and Vallely's.
I am trying to locate the marriage of James Devlin to Mary Vallely. Most likely in the Tyrone area of Northern Ireland however one side of the family believes it may be Limerick. I only know of two children as they settled in the Gateshead/Durham areas of the Northeast of England as youngsters. Leaving the parents back in Ireland we believe .Due to the ages of John Devlin and his younger brother Patrick I would guess the marriage took place about 1820 give or take a year or two (Patrick born 1830 is my Gt Gt Granda) It could be possible that there are more siblings and that the marriage could have been earlier.
