J.C.'s parents were John Edwin Derendinger and Wilhemina Derendinger born in Switzerland and Germany in 1865. Immigrated to US and Prairie Home in 1881. They had a farm there. There are a lot of my relatives still in booneville, Mo but have lost touch since my father died in 1991. It sounds like we may have shared the same grandfather. Although John was a common name.
