Hello!

I have a Goerge Washington Dinsmore who married Minnie Randall 3 Jun 1883 in Fort Fairfield, Aroostook, Maine. He was born 13 Oct 1846 and died 23 Feb 1913.

I got my information from a family record kept by a relative, who has passed away. I found the same date and couple when I looked up George Washington Dunsmoor (as my relative has recorded) in the IGI. The only main differences between them is that my family records show the last names as Dunsmoor and Randal rather than Dinsmore and Randall. Otherwise, the info is the same.

George's Father's name was Nathaniel Sawtell Dunsmoor, according to my relative's records. I did find 2 IGI records with a similar spelling. 1st: Nathaniel Sartwell Dunsmoor (b 6 Nov, 1803), son of John Dunsmoor. 2nd: Nathaniel Tartwell Dunsmoor (b 6 Nov, 1803), son of John Dunsmoor. Another Igi record shows that John Dunsmoormarried Polly Sartell in 1790
in Middlesex Massachusetts. Another Igi record shows John's parents as John L. Dunsmoor and Mary Kimball. IT also states that he was born 1769.

Naturally, I take all of this with a grain of salt. However, the information is very close to that of my ancestor's records. The only differences are minor bits and pieces of mispelling and missing info.

My family records show this connection (most recent generation to the oldest generation):

Edward Hanifen was born 10 Oct 1862. He married Florence Ellen Dunsmoor 8 Mar 1892. Florence was born 10 May 1871. She died 28 Jan 1931. Edward died 28 Jul 1949.

Florence was the daughter of Henry Fairfield Dunsmoor. Henry was born 5 Oct 1838. He married Mary Jane Jeffery (b 2 Aug 1843, d 5 dec 1917) 16 Dec 1864. He died 12 Jul 1916.

Henry's father was Nathaniel Sawtell Dunsmoor. Nathaniel was born in 1803 and died in 1869. His wife's name was Wealthy Yeaton, who was born 1810 and died 22 Oct 1882.

Nathaniel's father was John Dunsmoor. His mother was Polly.

Wealthy's father was Lyman Yeaton and mother was Mariel.

Harried Dunsmoor married Augustus Mac Donald
Catherine Moor Dunsmoor
George Washington Dunsmoor married MInnie Randal

Charles Franklin Dunsmoor married Effie Wilbur
