ZANESVILLE: Clara B. Densmore, 85 of Zanesville died Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born Sunday, January 29, 1928 in Rosemont, West Virginia the daughter of William Edward Davison and Blanch (McCloy) Davison.

She was married on Saturday, October 22, 1949 to Tom Densmore who preceded her in death on Wednesday, March 28, 2012.

She grew up in the Tiffin, Ohio Junior Order of United American Machinist Children's Home with her four sisters.

She graduated from RW High School in Clarksburg, WV in 1945.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a one-of-a kind granny who attended all their activities; she enjoyed cooking, going to garage sales, singing every day and was a very generous person to family, friends and even strangers and she will be greatly missed.

Surviving to cherish her memory are three children, Sharon (Gary) Stall, Nashport, OH, Gary (Carol) Densmore of Zanesville, Janet (Jack) Faust of Zanesville, OH; six grandchildren, Amy (Kevin) Hindel of Dresden, Travis Densmore of Zanesville, Tracie (Ryan) Holdren of Powell, Greg Stall of Grove City, Ohio, Angie (Andy) Jarosik of Hilliard,Ohio and Andrea Faust of Hilliard; nine great grandchildren Kurtis, Klaudia and Konner Densmore, Wyatt and Sydney Holdren, Brennen and Kinley Hindel and Lincoln and Beckett Jarosik; one sister, Lula McGrath of Charlotte, NC; one brother-in-law Clarence Forinash, Clarksburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Laura Skidmore, Bertha Forinash and Bette Johnson.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home 935 Forest Ave. Zanesville, OH.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the funeral home with Sr. Bernadette Selinsky officiating.

Burial will conclude in the Zanesville Memorial Park Zanesville OH.
