The following probably is not accurate on the George Barr family. I would be interested getting all the details on George and Permelia. I had typed in the names of the children on the census as I saw them, but I doubt it was accurate. As you know the census taker didn't always here accurate, so I would like your corrections on it. I just took what I had and then modified with what you just told me. So the following is probably not accurate and can use some corrections.

He was born August 07, 1861 in Martin Co., Indiana, and died March 03, 1956 in Daviess Co., Indiana.

Shoals Man, 94 Dies here today -

Francis Marion Freeman, 94-year old Elder in the Church of Christ at Shoals, died this morning at 6:30 o'clock at the Daviess County Hospital. He had been seriously ill since Sunday.

Mr. Freeman was born in Martin County August 7, 1861, the son of Joshua and Elizabeth "Benning" (misspelled in both papers) Freeman. He married Tabitha Barr and she preceeded him in death.

Surviving children are Harvey Freeman, Rosedale, IN; William Freeman, Terre Haute, and Mrs. Margaret Wade of Shoals.

A brother, Harvey Freeman, resides in Williams, IN.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Queen Funeral Home in Shoals and burial will be in the Clark Cemetery. Brother Arvil Wielbaker will officiate.

Friends may call at Queen's after 7 o'clock this evening.
