Hi,
The Assn hasn't stayed up for more than a few years at a time. I recently talked to Mr. Bellis, former Pres. of the Blauvelt-Demarest Foundation and they are trying to get something going. As of right now, they are the official keepers of the Demarest hard copy history. The foundation and I are also kind of working in concert with David and John Major, authors of "A Huguenot on the Hackensack: David Demarest and his Legacy" (2007) to get some movement in the family genealogy circles. To that end, I have a group on Facebook called "Grandchildren of David and Marie Sohier desMarets" and we have started a website
www.thedesmarets.com that is just starting to really take shape. If interested, it is much easier to work from Facebook and we have a few very active folks there to help if you need it...
