Saw your post and the reference of Carl Deline being your grandfather. His mother Carrie as you noted had 3 children out of wedlock (William Warden Drain 1913-1919, Ernest Franklin Drain 1916-1923, and James Anson Drain)1917-1917). Carrie was involved in a bigamy case regarding her "husband" James Nelson Drain. He was legally married to my ancestor Ellen May (Nell) Cross. I have newspaper copy I can share if interested.
