Hi. My name is also Ronnie Deckard. I have read 2 books- - - volume 1 & 2.titled "The war of the revolution" by Ward and MacMillan and vol-2 pages 739-745 at the battle of Kings mountain in which the patriots slaughtered Major Patrick Fergusons regiment (loyalist) in which he is killed. Both patriots and loyalist are unanimous that the Dechard rifle made the difference.thats just 1 letter from our name Deckard? good history books.
