Searching for the PARENTS of Reuben Dearman ,married 1,Mary Smith 2, Hannah Hayes, Sabine Parish, La.
And also would like information on Thomas Dearman who was with Reuben in Ark.who are his parents.All these Dearmans are from Mississippi.

My Grandmother had a picture hanging over her bed when I was little and she said it was John Dearman. The picture has disapppeared but it was a dark haired man, hair parted, piercing eyes, and a thick handlebar mustache. He had a high starched collar and a string tie. Is there ant chanced that maybe Reuben was Reuben John or John Reuben?
Reuben and Thomas were both in AR. I had talked to a relative of Thomas and she said they talked of family in LA

My husband's Dad has said that we were related to Dearmans here in Louisiana, and he also said that these Dearmans were from his G G Grandfather William Dearman that had two brothers...I will have to go back through some of my records.
