According to a written article I have on an anecestor(John William Malloy), his mother Letitia Emma de Burgh had a father and two brothers that fought for the French in the Crimean War. The publication says that her father, Colonel de Burgh, was killed in the battle of Sebastopol. Her brothers, Captain and Lieutanent de Burgh, were killed at Ballaclava.

I have not been able to verify any of this information. Would be interested in any information regarding these family members.
