I started reading your history and found it amazing. Presumably this is the product of hours of wading through historical documents.
I was looking for a possible ancestor with surname Berry-Cummins, said to have been de Burgh.
The story goes that this chap got into serious debt and was
rescued by the then owner of Harveys Bristol sherries so long as he took the surname Harvey. As I can't find any proof of this I shall have to give up on this story unless anything
