Zachery Daw married Matilda Johnson. They had 11 or 12 children and moved to Texas in 1897 from Conecuh County.

Zachary T. Daw & Matilda Johnson were the parents of my
grandmother, Nancy E.Daw. She married a Barfield, and she& Barfied had l son Lonnie. Then she married Henry Ashton Harvey,and had my Dad, William BryanHarvey, Carl Harvey, Noble Harvey,and "Buster" D.E. Harvey. I had worked so hard to get material together, and contacted all my cousins and got info on the Harveys, then our house burned this past March and I lost everything, and I DO MEAN EVERYTHING! Zachary Taylor Daw was my great grandfather. He was born in Alabama but buried in 1906 in a private Daw cemetery in Shelby County, Texas. My grandfather was William S Daw who was married to Mary V. and they had five children, Robert, M.D., Adelle(my mother), Merlene and James Norris. gechols@bayou.com
