I would like to find out about any descendants of Ambrose Daw b abt 1834 Boughton Monchelsea, Kent and married Eliza Love on 20 May 1854 in Staplehurst, Kent. They were my Great Great Grandparents.

Hello,on your request for more information on Ambrose Daw i can tell you the little i know.My g/g/g/grandmother was Mercy Daw 1811,daughter of Martha & Ambrose Daw..At that time they were living in Marden,Kent & it would appear that Ambrose married three times so perhaps your Ambrose was a brother or cousin of Mercy.

I know that Ambrose was the grandson of Ambrose 1811 and Martha. His father was Edward b about 1813 in Marden. Mercy must have been a sister. I don't have any details on Edward's siblings.

I have had contact with a lady in America who informs me there was a sibling James but i am having a real problem in researching the Daw line.I can now add Edward to Mercy's line now ,thankyou.Mercy also married an Edward & they had six children.

Hi, I am looking for the parents/siblings of Ambrose Daw, b Jan 20 1840 Lower Hatting, Kent, England. He d May 24 1894 in O'Brien Co, Iowa, US. He was married to Ann Eves b June 21, 1840 in Ightham, Kent, England. She died and their children were adopted out.
