In the Name of God Amen. I Moses Davison (note spelling has no extra "d" to start) of the County Fayette being sick in Body but of sound memory do make this my last will and Testament first it is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfyed as soon as conveniently can be after my descease. ~~ Item (?) I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Mary Davison all my personal property during her natural life ~~ Item (?) I give and bequeath unto my wife the use and occupation on the plantation that I was live on so long as she remains my widow ~~ Item (?) I give and bequeath unto my Son Samuel all my right lette(?) and Clame (?) to the plantation that he now lives on to him his heirs Executors, Administrators and assigus(?) for ever ~~ Item (?) I give and bequeath unto my Said Son Samuel thre(?) bonds that is in his possession against Bresela Newbad - each for the sum of one hundred pounds to him his heirs and assigns. Forever. It is my will that at the death or marriage of my wife that the plantation that I now live on be equally divided between my four Daughters. Mary, Martha, Elsabeth and Peninah(?) to …(?)… their Heirs and assigns forever ~~ Item (?) I leav and bequeath unto my gran.(?) daughter Nancy Johnston to be paid when she attains the age of eighteen one dollar ~~ Item (?) I leave and bequeath unto my Gran.(?) daughter Peninah (?) That is due me from Breula (start of page 752) Newbald it is my will that it be divided between my wife and my three single Daughters that my wife have one third and that Mary, Martha and Elizabeth have the remaining two thirds for the proper use and benefit it is my will that William Lynn (?) and my Daughter Mary Davidson be my Executors in witness whereas I have set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two.

Before me the subscriber Register for the Probate of wills and grating Letters of Administration in and for said County personally carry David Springer and Micaja Smith the signing witnesses to the fore giving last will & Testament and on their sole attestations did respectively declare that they saw the Testator execute the same ~ where of disposing mind that they severally signed there names there to in his presence as witnesses and that us undue influence had been used or later will made by deceased to their knowledge or belief ~~ In witness when of I have hereto set my hand and seal of said office the 22nd of August Anno Domini 1822.

Know all men by these presents that Samuel Davidson and Mary his Wife of
Fayette County and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for and in Consideration
of the Sum of seven hundred dollars of good and lawful money of the
United States to them in hand well and truly paid by Brazella Newbold of
the County and State aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
and the party fully satisfied and the aforesaid Davidson and Mary his
Wife do in consideration thereof release and make over unto the aforesaid
Newbold all their right title claim and interest in and to forty six and
one half acres of land in Washington Township in the County and State
above mentioned adjoining lands of James Elliott Jacob Bowman and
Christian Tarr Which Land the said Davison and Wife Claim by Virtue of a
Verbal contract entered into with said Newbold in Witness whereof the
said Davidson and wife have hereunto set their hand and seals this
hundredth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and twenty five. Samuel Davison, Mary Davison

Received at the Date of the foregoing release seven hundred Dollars in
full of the consideration money of the within release witness my hand and
seal. Samuel Davison. Attest James D. Cope_.Personally appeared before
me one of the commonwealth Justices of the Peace in condition the County
of Fayette and State of Pennsylvania the within named Davidson and Wife
partial to the foregoing release and acknowledged the within to be their
actual and deed the content being personally made known to them and
desired as such to be recorded said Mary being examined separate and
apart from her husband and out of his hearing said she executed the
within release of her own free will and accord and without any constraint
of her husband and that she willingly makes over her right of
_?...witness where of I have affixed my hand and seal the year and day
