I am researching the Davis family, beginning in IN to OR and OK.
James Davis b. 1838 IN (son of Samuel Davis & Isabella ??)
Married a Sarah???
children: Polina b. 1860, Sarah b 1862, Mary A b. 1866
Don't know what happened to first Sarah.
Then 13 Apr 1878 married my great-grandmother, Sarah D Farr (1850-1911).
children: Stella (1879-1911), James (1880-?), Birdie (1886-1953) and Dollie (1890-??)
They were in Union, Johnson, IN on 1880 census. Dollie was born in Oregon in 1890. In 1910 Sarah, James, Birdie and Dollie were in Strike Axe, OK. Sarah was listed as a widow. I don't know when or where James Sr. died. Also, don't know when and where James Jr and Dollie died. I think they probably died in OK. Dollie wrote post cards to here sister, Birdie, and the last one was dated in 1913. Anyone with any info, I would appreciate sharing.
