I am trying to locate my great-grand father John Mitchell Davis who married a Sarah Hill and they settled Old Town, Grayson County, VA. I have information about them after that but I think his parents where born in NC, My Father can remember an Indian woman coming to visit them and was told that she was a cousin. If anyone has any information please let me know. I think John M. Davis was born in Smith County, VA I have found him there but no listing of parents only siblings.
