I see your 11 Dec 2012 comment. Thanks for your responce. Members of the Howell family of Loudoun Co., VA suggsted the relationshiip. My ancestor, Benjamin had 2 sons Howell & Abel. Able had a son named John Davis [1800-1880] who m. Mary Elizabeth Newland. They named their first b. son Josiah.
