Benjamin Davis of Baltimore City b. 1712 d. 1759. His son also named Benjamin Davis is my ancestor, b. about 1742 who m. Mrs Hannah Davis some place in MD and in 1761 moved to Loudoun Co., VA. Benjamin b. 1742 d. 1803 in Loudoun Co. Benjamin m. a widow, Mrs. Hannah Davis. They obtained a lifetime FAIRFAX lease on 100 acres and moved from MD to Loudoun Co in 1761. Benjamin d. testate in May 1803. They had 2 sons - Howell & Abel and 4 daughters Ann, Sarah Rachel and Elizabeth. There is a Josiah in the family, s/o John Davis & MaryElizabeth Newland. John, b. 1800 was the s/o Abel [1764-1847] who d. in White Co. ,IN.
