Comfort died and Lewis married [2]Elizabeth Claypoole Conwell. She was widow of Thomas Conwell.

Jeremiah b. June 10, 1769 m. Anne Alexander d. 1851
Jeremiah inherited his father's 'plantation' and the Ferry in Fayette Co. Pa. He was considered a 'wealthy' man. And per Lewis's will was to take care of Elizabeth until she died. [will book #1, Uniontown, Pa]
One of Jeremiah's sons, Samuel ran the ferry until it was sold 1890 and built a brick house in 1852 that was heated with gas from a nearby coal mine. Samuel died around 1884 it and the ferry were purchased by Louis F. Arensberg in 1890....from 'A Guidebook to Historic Western Pennsylvania' by Helene smith and George Swetnam.
Rachel Davidson married Samuel McKee at Davidson's Ferry in 1781.
She died in Tippecanoe Co. Indiana in 1841 and is buried in Abbott Cemetery in Clinton Co. IN., near her son, Eli's home.

David b. circa 1780 [ if the David McKee, 70 years old and a doctor, living with David and Cynthia McKee Osborn in Hamilton Co Ohio in 1850 is their son.] Samuel's will does include a David Conner McKee as 'my son'.

Elizabeth b. December 21, 1787 m. James Mewhinney lived in Brookville, IN and had several children. One, Cynthia married Amos Hanna who was a barrel maker. Elizabeth died in 1848.

Rachel b. April 4, 1795 in Hamilton Co. Ohio. m.Unknown Davis d. 1782 in Butler Co. Ohio at home of her daughter, Elizabeth Thompson.
Elizabeth's son [Rachel's grandson, Manford, visited frequently with Eli McKee and is mentioned in his daughter, Hattie McKee's, diaries.]
Mary b. June 22, 1798 near Pleasant Ridge, Hamilton Co. Ohio m. Daniel Sturges, April 1, 1819 and had several children. She was a widow in 1850 Census for Chester, Clinton Co. Ohio.
Cynthia , b. Aug. 22, 1800, Pleasant Ridge, died about 1850 after the census and before her husband, David Osborn returned to Indiana with their 5 children.
Eli, b. Nov. 4, 1802 m. Nancy Griffing Dec. 4, 1828 in Rush Co. Indiana d. Jan. 1877 in Lauramie Twp. Tippecanoe Co. Indiana.
He and Nancy ran an Inn and farmed near Clarks Hill, In.
They had 10 children, 8 lived to adulthood...Thomas G., Enos, Sarah, Samuel, Ella, Mark, Nancy Permelia and Harriett. Mark died in the Civil War.
I have more on the others, as well as pictures, if anyone is interested.
I would like to track down the Fleming Davidsons more closely.
