I'm also looking for Davidson's from New York and Ohio but I keep getting mixed information from family members.

My great grandmother was Ethel Geneva Hutchinson who married David Nathan McBeth.( This I know for sure ).

Ethel had a brother named Harry L. Hutchinson ( This I know for sure ).

The story going around my family is,
Ethel and Harry's mother died when they were young and Harry lived with his father and Ethel went to live with her grandparents John C. Ball and Annie Davidson and when Annie died Ethel went to live with her aunt Anna Braburg.

Ethel's mother and father were Fredrick L. Hutchinson and Jennie Ball.( This I know for sure )( they say Jennie had indian in her )
Jennies parents were John C. Ball and Annie Davidson
( Annie was born in Switzerland ).( ? )

The family says John's middle name was Campbell but according to the 1900 cencus it shows Ethel Geneva Hutchinson lived with her grandparents by the names of John Claudius Ball and Anna Gussett and their son Fred.
And I don't find John Campbell Ball and Annie Davidson having a Ethel nor do I find anyone named Anna Braburg so any information down eather line would help me to figure out which fork in the road I might need to take.
