Hello Donald,
I have been researching the David family a little over a year. I have found three separate David lines in the Philadelphia/Frederick County, MD areas around 1700. They shared many given names which makes identification difficult at times. One branch moved to Western PA and have descendants there to this day. Another branch homesteaded into Mason Co., Kentucky around 1805. The third branch homesteaded into Bartholomew Co., IN(later Brown Co.) 1820-1830. Part of them moved on to homestead in Missouri 1830-1840. From my census notes I found a Jacob and Thomas David in the 1800 PA census in Lancaster Co., Roll No. 39, Page No. 68. There are several Family Group Records on several of the names you mentioned @ www.familysearch.org . Good luck hunting and let me know if I can be of help. Eddy.
