I see your note was published in Jan 2000, so I am not sure if you are still watching this board and/or can connect with me... but, I certainly hope that you can!

I find myself now researching the family of Adam Darling and Ruth Jayne... or at least beginning to.

Some researchers with trees on Ancestry.com have identified them as the parents of Charles W Darling, who married Sarah Kinner. Further, they identify Mary Darling (1824-1911), wife of Charles S Newey as one of Charles & Sarah's daughters.

As you may have already guessed, I am descended from Charles S and Mary (Darling) Newey. I have only recently found references to Charles W Darling & Sarah Kinner as Mary's parents, and am hoping to find some corroborating documentation.

One of the notes I saw on rootsweb.com noted that you had been researching the Darling family for a good number of years, so I thought you might be able to provide some insight and/or hints as to where I might research such documentation.
