My sister-in-law has a photo of some women who are probably sisters. It's written on the back "Clark Cyrus Morris relatives in Michigan". We think one of the women may be Emma Darling Merritt. The other woman may be Emma's sister, Cynthia Darling who would be Clark's mother.
Emma Darling married Ambrose Merritt of Michigan. Their son John A Merritt was born in Lapeer but spent most of his adult life in Royal Oak in Oakland county.
This family has been a major brick wall for my sis in law and we decided it's time to start trying to break through the wall.
I'm attaching the photo with hopes that someone who knows about the Merritt family or has connections to them can identify the ladies. If you have suggestions as another board to post this on, please suggest away!
