Jonathan Robards Darling was born 1866 in S. Ryegate VT. His father was a prominent citizen of Ryegate VT. He was a physician and a lumber dealer. Elizabeth Adeline Randall was born 1872 in Newbury VT. Son Brock Robards Darling was born Sept. 1899 in Sherman Calif. His parents were married there in Dec. 1898. They had one other child, Henry Victor, born Oct. 1907 in Santa Monica. Jonathan owned a fruit ranch in Antelope Twp., CA and he died Mar. 1946. His wife died in Sept. 1954 Los Angeles Co.

Brock owned a gas station in Los Angeles in 1930, and he and his brother were residents of Santa Monica in 1940.
