I am appealing to anyone from the William Daniel, John Lehr, Weathersby or (Rowe, Row, Roe) family for help in determining the father of Ulysses Alexander Daniel Weathersby.

Trecilla Daniel (daughter of William Daniel) was my gggg grandmother. Trecilla Daniel married John Lehr. Trecilla’s dau, ( Mary Lehr may have been the child of a prior marriage.) Mary had five children - Thomas Weathersby (b. 1822) my gg grandfather Ulysess Alexander Daniel Weathersby (b. 1824 Amite Cty Miss), and Trecilla, Lenorah and John Lewis (Row, Roe, Rowe). The father of the Weathersby boys is unknown.
.
Mary Lehr died approx 1838. After her death, her two girls were made wards of her sister Cloanna and her husband Dr. Henry Watkins. Ulysses was left in care of his grandmother Trecilla Lehr. They all left Mississippi approx 1838-1839 to Walker County, Texas. It is unknown what happened to Thomas.

Family history has it that this “unknown” Weathersby was born in Barnwell Cty SC, lived in Louisiana and Amite Mississippi. Was there a marriage between Mary Lehr and a Weathersby–if yes, who and how did the marriage end? If no marriage, was there a known Weathersby-Mary Lehr relationship that produced Thomas and Ulysses Weathersby? Are Martha Anne (who married Rubin Rowe in Copiah Cty Miss 1827) and Mary Lehr one in the same. Can anyone provide additional info on the William Daniel family? Trecilla Daniel was born approx 1787 in North Carolina. Trecilla and John Lehr lived in Barnwell Cty South Carolina early 1800.
