This family is not on my family-tree. But, for a few yrs. I tried to create a family-tree for a large, 2-generation FITZGERALD family. With the help of others, I was able to create a basic family of ancestors for them. But, the older generation had an estranged grandfather. He was John FITZGERALD who had been divorced from this first wife ~1915, and was also estranged from his children. (Big mystery family.)

Also with the help of others, I was finally able to find out where he disappeared to. I found that he had remarried (at some point) to Miss Frances DANE, some 30 yrs. his junior. And I found out that at some point they moved to Monument Beach, MA, which is a village within Bourne, MA. They both lived fairly long lives there.

Frances had been born in 1913 in Malden, MA, and her parents were Leonard and Elizabeth (LAXTON) DANE, with ties to Westford, MA. I was wondering if anyone researched this family.

John FITZGERALD died in 1971 in Bourne, and Frances died in 1999 in Bourne. I believe 2 DANE relatives (nephew and niece) were mentioned in her death-notice and I believe they lived in NH. (I need to pull out my notes.)
