WATCH OUT! Here comes speculation. It looks as if the James DEEN who had died by 1744 in Somerset Co., listing an unborn child and a brother Charles could have been a brother of Charles DEAN whose will was pr. 1764, naming a son James DEAN and also several others named DEAN.
I wonder if Elizabeth SPENCER, will pr. 1750, naming sons Mathew & Wm. DEAN, might have been the widow of Michael DEAN, will pr. 1721, since a witness to Michael's will was Wm. SPENCER. The son Wm. DEAN & grandson Wm. DEAN might have been the ones whose wills were pr. 1764 & 1774.
