I know this is a really old post. I am a Daily descendent from Washington Co., PA. From what I have read about the Dailys in Washington Co. Is very confusing. My ancestor Charles was born in 1730 in perhaps Washington County or Maryland. His father may have had a land grant in the 1770-1780s in Washington County. His father was Phillip born in 1710. But then, I have seen in some trees that this land grant called Dauphin was not given to the Phillip born in 1710 but the Phillip born in 1727. He may or may not be related to my Dailys. The 1727 Phillip may be a son of Nathaniel Daily whose descendents go by Dally spelling. Then I see that there is a Jacob Daily, son of Peter?, who was also in Washington County in the 1700s. I am not sure any of us are related or we may all be related. Any DNA testing going on among Washington County Daileys?
