I'd love to correspond with anyone who has info pertaining to the Daigle and Hachey family lines!! Does anyone have family info that would include my grandma Amanda Daigle from the Bathurst New Brunswick region? She may have been from the Pabineau #11 First Nations, but I'm not sure. All I was told was that she was French, Roman Catholic, married into the Hachey line and that she died at a very early age after having 5 children. Hopefully someone else knows more than I do!
Thanks so much,
Rona

Severina was born about 1887, was in a boarding school in Hennepin, Minneapolis, Minnesota at 13 in 1900; and as far as I can tell, lived the rest of her life in Glendive, Montana with her husband Charles Crepeau. Family lore has it that she was born so close to the Maine/Canada line that it's not certain which country she can claim. I have no idea who her parents might have been, or what caused her migration. I'd appreciate any help.
Laura Crepeau

I am looking for Loyd Daigle son of Terence and Lillie Daigle half brother of Clarence, Lawerence, and Lewis Daigle. I believe he was living somewhere around New Orleans Louisiana. My grandfather Clarence didnt know very much about him because he didnt want anything to do with my grandfather or his family because his father Terence apparently denied his paternity, from what I understand of the story anyways. I would be VERY interested in finding out about him and his decendants if any and in sharing all info I have about his brothers and theirs. thanks
And finally, his g-grandfather was William Daigle (b. 1884), also of Glengarry, Ontario, and married to Celina Brunette.

If anyone has a similar family line or any information for me whatsoever, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Joy.

Hi.

I am looking for any information on my great grandfathers sister, Delphine Gravel who married Anthony Daigle, possibly in Athol Mass. They supposedly had two sons, Henry Daigle and Frank Daigle. She may have also had a sister named Mary Dora (Gravel) Hannigan.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Pat

Daigle Genealogy

I am in charge of genealogy for the Daigle Reunion to be held in Morgan City as part of the Congre Mondial in Aug. 1999. I am looking for every Daigle I can find (birth, marriage, and death date and place) and their spouse of course. I have a number from the New Brunswick area but I would like to have the Daigles from the Province of Quebec. If you know of someone (hopefully many) who would be willing to share their Daigle database with me, please put them in contact with me and of course I would be willing to share the complete database with them. I now have over 7700 names about 5000 Daigles. I will be sending this message out to the others on the helplist in a grand effort to have as many Daigles in the database before the Reunion.

BTW, If I can be of any help to you, please don't hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,

Don Daigle
ddaigle@nola.srrc.usda.gov

Daigle Database

As some of the participants in this forum know, I have been compiling a Daigle database for the past 3 years. The Daigle Association used this database for the reunion in 1999 and we hope to have even a better one for the coming reunions. If you need help, want to contribute, or just want to correct some errors in the database, I would appreciate a message either by e-mail (ddaigle@nola.srrc.usda.gov) or snail mail (44 Lark St., New Orleans, LA 70124-4523) or phone
(504-288-8980). I will be happy to send charts or the database to those requesting. I look forward to hearing from many of you. Thanks.

Don Daigle

She married my grandfather in Lee County Texas, August 1966, I believe after she divorced Mr (?) Landry or he passed away. I've heard that Mr & Mrs Landry may have been associated with the motel business, perhaps in the Baton Rouge, LA area. Any leads would be most appreciated.

I am trying to find a line of Daigle's that their children I believe were born in MAINE. The oldest child was a son born about 1940 and then they had another son about 1947 then a daughter in about 50. The last two children were a daughter born in about 59 and a son who I believe was the last child in about 1964. I think all the children went to Catholic High School. If anyone knows what family this was fathers name or oldest son's, anyone in the family, I would like to get in touch with them to get more info from the notes I have which are very limited and hard to read. Thank you for any assistance dtss@blomand.net

Marguerite Daigle/Lambert Billardin, LA

I am looking for information on the parents of Marguerite Daigle, wife of Lambert Billardin. Lambert and Marguerite left France on the ship Le Saint Remi on June 27, 1785. They arrived in Louisiana on September 10, 1785. With them were Marie Jeanne, 6, Marguerite, 3 and Etienne, 10. Lambert was 40, Marguerite was 37. Lambert is listed in the 1789 census of LaFourche Parish, Louisiana, as 44, and his three children are listed. No mention is made of Marguerite. Marie Jeanne Billardin, their daughter, was said to be from Morlaix. She married Joseph Alain Boudreaux in Assumption Parish, Louisiana on October 24, 1803.

Does anyone have any information on these families?
Regarding the Morris Furlong family

Read message from Janice Lanpher.Albert Furlong was my uncle. His 2 daughters Sharon and Linda live in Kentucky. Jim lives in Florida, Billy lives in Michigan Timothy is in Pennsylvania.Albert was married to my mother's sister Mickey.Would like information on the Furlong family for my family tree plus for Sharon and Linda. Sharon was only 12 when her mother died and her father remarried and moved the family to Kentucky so she knows very little of her family ancestry. If you would like to share info my e-mail is patnbun@aol.com.Anything I can find for you I will be willing to share. When I saw your name I remembered hearing about you when I was a kid. Were you referred to as Sis?I talk to Sharon all the time maybe I can put you in touch with her if you'd like. I'll be talking with her this weekend and I'm sure she'll be surprised! I know I was.

finding anyclues to my maternal roots.

I am trying to locate any ancestors that came from my maternal side. I am very new at doing this, and I'm researching this alone as well. I was not raised by my mother's side, but I have some information that is true and correct.
For example, all of my mother's side has dark skin and the only Aunt that I was close to told me that this originated from Quebec, somewhere. My Aunt told me that her grandpa was from Canada, and that we are French-Indian.
So, this information is true, but unfortunetly, she passedaway in February. I am doing this research to give to our daughter because she is 11 and wants to know
Any help would be appreciated.
Sincerely, pennie
With all of the research done on the Daigle name, I am surprised that nothing is recorded on the Family in France. We all know about the first Daigle to come here.
Olivier Daigle was born in Saintonge France in 1643. Does anyone know anything about his parents? Someone out there must have some information. I sure would appreciate the information.

Thanks
Bob Daigle
