I got my book back on Louisiana French Heritage written by Truman Stacey. I looked thru it and the only ship he mentions of the early settlers that went to Nova Scotia is a ship called "Saint - Jehan". It just saids that some of the earlier settlers came over on that ship and our ancestors were part of the first comers. Well, it so much to explain. Get the book and it will help some. You can order it at:
Acadian House Publishers
P.O. Box 52247
Lafayette, Louisiana 70505
