Don't know if or how we're related, but I am a Dafforn descendant. My 2X great-grandmother was Ann Elizabeth "Lizzie" Dafforn, daughter of William Dafforn and Maria Smith of Warwickshire, England. Lizzie was born in 1852 and she, her sister Emila and their parents came to Canada in about 1858. I have read her journal of 1882 wherein she was back in England staying with family. I don't know anything yet about her parent's lineages. If you have a William Dafforn from Warwickshire in notes somewhere, I'd love to hear from you.
