My husband's third great-grandmother is Elizabeth Dabbs, born 12/13/1838 in TN and we are trying to find out who her parents were. It is possible her parents were James Dabbs, possible born in VA, and his wife Martha. We also think she was born in or her family had moved to Perry County, Tennessee. The census listings show her born in TN.

Elizabeth ended up in McDonald County, MO at some point before 1858 because she had married and had a daughter by October of 1859. She was living with her first husband, W. Warren, in McDonald County, MO, in or around the town of Rocky Comfort during the 1860 census. She was married three times, outliving both her first and second husbands & died 5/26/1902 in MO. Her husbands were: W. Warren (b. 1837 MO d. 1860-1866 MO), John Davidson Bunch (b. 1804 TN d. bef. 1900 MO), and Pleasant White (b. 3/1836 TN d. aft. 1900). Her descendants lived in MO, AR, OK, and TX.
