Hi Patty,

It's Heather, Christopher's girlfriend. I had no idea you were into genealogy, I've attempted to research the D'Esposito name a few times for Giovanna when she gets older. I signed up with Ancestry.com for the 1930 US Census records and did at one point locate the D'Esposito's but there were so many families with the same names it was hard for me to pinpoint the correct family branch. If you'd like I think I can save the files as .jpgs and can email you to pinpoint this down better. Where is Piano di Sorrento? I'd love to help you with your research. We miss you and hope all is well. Heather

Hello-

My husbands grandmother is Susan D'Esposito who married Anthony Albano. Susan has 9 siblings, one of her siblings is Joseph. Do you have any sisters named Susan or Teresa? I have a little more information. Both Susan and her husband (they had the same last name, but are not related) are from Sorrento Italy. They came to brooklyn around 1910.

Hi Joe, My name is Joseph Desposito. My father grew up on Van Brunt Street. I will have to get my grandfather's name so I can see if we are related in any way. As far as I know his father or my grandfather did work on a ship and thats how he wound up here. My father had three bothers. Mike, Rocco, and Frank. I know this is an old post but I hope to hear from you. Thanks Joe
