I have been looking for info for Elleanor Czorny for nearly 10 years. Her last known whereabouts was Winnepeg Manitoba Canada in 1923.
Elleanor would be my long lost great grandmother, she had two daughters although nobody knew of them. One of these daughters was my
grandmother Mona born July 4, 1911. Elleanor was married to Roy Scott Jenkins of Valentine Nebraska from 1916 to 1923. Elleanor was
originally married to James Richards who was killed in a train accident in 1912. Any information even remotely associated would be greatly appreciated
and gladly recieved.

Hello Manuela, thanks for the reply. I hope that you will keep this mail and if you come across Elleanor in your search you can share any info with me. I don't know if Czorny is Elleanor's maiden name or another married name as she disapeared after 1923 from Winnipeg. What is the family you are searching for??? If I can be of any help I will. I was told that Elleanor was originally from some where in Europe. Good luck in your search.

Hi, my name is Kathy Czorny. I am looking for some family members from the Czorny family that used to live near Lvov before World War II. My father's famaily has been from there, before the Russians made them migrate and settle in Poland. I have always been interested in my father's family, so if anybody out there knows anything about that last name, please e-mail me.

Hi Kathy, I don't know to much about the Czorny name. I have
been looking for Elleanor for about 17 years, she was in Winnipeg Manitoba in 1922 and vanished after that. I think she changed her name again as I have 6 last names for her. I don't know if Czorny is a maiden name or another marriage name. Do you have any Elleanor's in your family tree or any reletives in the Winnipeg area?? If you wish you may e-mail me at bkjohnston@sk.sympatico.ca

I'm french, so excuse me for my english !
my grandfather (and his husband Katarina Petruchka) has migrated in France (after they were refusing in New-York) in 1925. he was born in 1889 near Lvov (Ternopol ?)
I don't know anything about his brothers or sisters...(he leaved mother's home before 1900 (!) because his father was died very young (25 years, I think...) My grandparents were died in 1982 but I don't know many things about their past, so I would be happy to have news about american or german family !

My grandfather was born in Glicia, Ukraine. He came to the US in 1907. When he passed away in 1951 his obituary stated he had a brother in France. We never knew anything about his brother or sister (who lived in Kiev). Galicia is near Ternopol and I think we do have relatives there. I'm still trying to find them.
