Recent information obtained with help from others in this post allows me to give a little more background. I'm trying to determine the immigration of my GGF John Czmar, bd 25 Jun 1851, Gulyvesz, Slovakia, to Olean N.Y. abt 1902-1905. Married Maria Yusko in Slovakia abt 1879.

Also the immigration of my GGM Maria Yusko Czmar, bd 1856, ?Slovakia to Olean, N.Y. before 1910.

Son John M. Czmar arrived EI 13 Nov 1905.

Thanks,
Ken

Unable to locate Baptism info in the Greek Catholic church records for my distant relatives, born about 1864-1871. According to their marriage records the towns of their births were Sztrajnyan and Natafalva. I haven't been able to isolate either town in the 1869 Census because the County is not listed, except for Zemplén. Please advise. Thanks

I'm not wrong to assume one and the same person? Thought I help. I can delete the post if I have the wrong person.
