I am in search of information on the ancestors of my great-grandmother, who I was named after. The following is the only information that I have found so far.

Anna Bertha Czekalla
b: 14SEP1897, Germany
m: 22JUL????, Germany to Oscar Alfred Fruhner
d: 08MAR1985, Warren, Malcomb Co, MI, USA

Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Anna K. Smith

Hallo,

My ancestor John Czekalla was born in Friedrichshof, Prussia and married Anna Kolpak in Gelsenkirchen, Germany in 1896. John and family came to Johnstown, PA in 1903-1906.
Any relation?

Hi,

I do know that there were 2 Fruhner families not related. My dad Josef came from a village called Kopitz in Oberschleisen. I do know that there are Fruhners on Facebook that could be possible relatives of yours. I live in Michigan and I do know of Fruhners that lived in East Pointe.
Hope this helps.
