John W. Czech, 61, of Saegertown,PA,
passed away May 23, 2010, at home after an extended illness. He was born February 1, 1949, in Erie, the son of John Czech and Stella Lugolinski Check. He married Sylvia Banach and she survives. He was self-employed, establishing the family business, Czech Tool, in Saegertown in 1994. He was an elder at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Meadville, finding joy and satisfaction in teaching Bible truths to others, and helping to serve those in the Meadville congregation. As an avid lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing the local lakes, traveling, and gardening; all of which he felt brought him even closer to his creator. Survivors include his wife Sylvia Czech of Saegertown; his mother Stella Czech of McKean; four sons Travis Czech of Erie; Timothy Czech and his wife Jamie of Erie; Trevor Czech and his wife Emily of Saegertown; Jacob Czech of Norfolk, Va.; one granddaughter Marley Czech; three sisters Anita Czech of McKean; Cecelia Czech Bahl and her husband Wayne of Linesville; Brenda Czech of Saratoga, Calif.
and six nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. There will be no visitation or viewing. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 15351 Harmonsburg Rd., Meadville, with Matt Timmons presiding.
