Searching for any information on the descendents of the CYWINSKI family that emigrated from Poland about the 1890’s to 1900’s to New York City (Queens), New York. Ignatius, his brothers Ludwig and Walenty and sister Mary lived in Greenpoint(?) N.Y.C. Another sister Helen remained in Poland, married and had five children. Ignatius married Mary Raminski (my grandparents) and they moved to Jersey City, N.J. where they opened a bakery shop. They had five children; Tony, Helen (my mother), Walter, Henry and Camilia. Walenty was a baker and married Francis and they had a daughter(?) and they lived in Brooklyn N.Y. Last known address was 196 North Henry Street
Brooklyn, N.Y.Any help from family, relatives, friends or anyone will be greatly appreciated and I will gladly share my information.
Thank you. George T. Wallace

I have just begun to search for my father's family. He was born in Rusiec, Poland in 1915, captured and became a prisoner of war second day of WW2 , married in Germany and then migrated to Australia in 1949. There was no contact with his family throughout his life. Apparently there are 3 Rusiecs in Poland, and I have narrowed it down to near Czwstochwa or Brwinow. I am trying to determine which Rusiec and he did say he had brothers and sisters( now well into their 80s). If this rings a bell, would love to hear from you.

Hi, I am also trying to find the town my Father was from. He lived in Rusiec Poland and was also taken by the Germans. Unfortunately he died at a young age and I don't have much history about where he was during the war. I believe he was in the Lodg Ghetto and then in various concentration camps ending up in Aushwitz and eventually moving to Los Angeles. His name was Meier Gliksman.
