Hi everyone. The information on all the previous threads is mindblowing in its value. I would like information on all the Cyster family. I am primarily interested in the Aston Clinton Cysters though. My GG grandma was Louisa Caroline Cyster b about 1855 in Aston Clinton. She married George Barnes in about 1874 and had at least three children :- Dinah, Jesse (gt grandad) and Frederick. Louisa ended up running a pub in Slough, I believe it was The Black Boy, but stand to be corrected.

Hi

A man named Jesse Thomas Barnes, son of George Barnes, married my GG Aunt Rachel Walker (she was a sister to my Grandfather). I believe Jessie was in the UK miltary, and also that he ran some pubs/inns in England. Jessie and Rachel were married in Ealing, I think - or lived there, anyway. The Barnes' family were from Lancashire I believe. In fact I am exploring a possible connection between the Hawksworth and Atkin families from Derby. Perhaps we have a connection? Thank you! deForest Walker defwnorth@yahoo.com
