My great-grandfather was Fred Thompson, married to an Emily ? Could it be the same Fred Thompson in your lineage? There is a gravestone in the Goodall Cemetery in Phelps County, Missouri where Fred and Emily are buried. It is curious that the gravesite is small and I'm wondering if they are buried together. I would truly appreciate more information, especially in the event that your Fred moved west toward Missouri.

It is possible that they are one in the same. Fred and Emily are burried together but I can't think of the cemetary. Could be the same one. The had children together, do these names sound familiar: Julie, Clifford, and Edgar. They are all deceased now though. Fred had Ray, Walter and Nellie by his first wife. I don't remember them moving to missiouri.
I only remember they lived in Huntington and Emily worked at Campers Park for years.
My sister in law has done a lot of research on this she can possibly provide you with more of the information you need.
You can contact her at kct39258@aol.com her name is Caro Thompson, [wife of Keith Harold Thompson[, my brother,
Let me know if we are related. thanks for your reply
