I am looking for any information on Philomene Chartier who married either a John Cyrier or a Jean-Babtiste Cyrier.

I do know by 1880 John/Jean-Baptiste had died as "Fanny" is listed on the 1880 census in Illionois as a widow with her children:
George
Medy (Henri Amede)
Georgia
Joseph
Eddie
Victoria

Any information on any member of this family line is appreciated.

I am looking for information regarding the children of Noel Cyrier and Emérence Elizabeth Paradis. I know that Jean Baptiste was one of their sons. Is your John B. the same Jean Baptiste that served in the Civil War? I am decended from Archilles Cyrier (my great grandfather). My cousin sat down with William Cyrier, son of Archilles, and he told her that John B. served in the Civil War as a "infantry man".

I would love to hear more on the Cyrier family. I have only been researching for a few years but certainly can share what I have found so far.

Yes, John B. Cyrier/Jean-Baptist Cyrier was the son of Noel Cyrier. Not sure whether Noel #1 or Noel #2 as I have been unable to trace further.

My Great-Great Grandfather was Henri Amedee Cyrier (b.1864, Illinois-d.1930, Arkansas) the second son of John B./Jean-Baptiste and Philomene "Fanny" Chartier.

If any of this is familiar or a possible match to your tree please let me know.
