Cyran is a Polish name and sounds like that might be hers, since she married a Kaminski (also a Polish name). People tended to not stray far from their national origins back then.

Cryan is an Irish name.

This may be a wild goose chase, but I wanted to take a chance. The name Cyran is close to my maiden name, Cyranowski. My Great-Grandfather was Ignatius Cyranowski, he married a Sophie Kaminski. Both of their families immigrated from Poland, I believe in the early 1900's. I haven't done much research on this side of my family. But, I know that they used to live outside of Pittsburgh (my Great-Aunt was born there) and they also lived in Cleveland (where my Grandfather was born in 1909). As I said, I really haven't done much research on this side and so the Cyran and Kaminiski names may be common. Have you found anything?
