I am looking for information on the Cyganek family originally from Poland. My GGrandfather was Stanley Cyganek, born 1901 in Chicago, Ill. His parents were Roman Cyganek, born in Warsaw Poland and Mary Koslowski, born in Chicago, Ill. This is all the information I have. If anyone out there has more I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Jena

I don't know if there is any connection between our families. The earliest Cyganek ancestor I can trace so far is Casimir Cyganek b. 3-4-1848, d. 10-17-1906. His son, Roman came to America between 1893-95. I don't know if Casimir came as well. All of the census info I have found on Roman states that he, and both of his parents were born in Poland. One of Romans' children was Stanley, b. 1901, d. 1974. He was my great grandfather. I don't know if any of this will help you at all, I hope it does. Jena
