LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH - Frank P. Cvetkovic, 95, passed away early Thursday morning, June 4, 2015, at his home, following a long and fulfilling life.

Frank was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) a son of the late John and Helen Magasith Cvetkovic, and was a lifelong area resident.

Frank was a United States Army veteran of World War II, where he served with the Division Quartermaster in charge of Army supplies.

Prior to his military service, he worked as a teen with the Civilian Conservation Corps in Yellowstone National Park.
Mr. Cvetkovic retired from his own business, Liberty Permit Service, at the age of 62, where he helped the trucking companies keep oversize vehicles legal for travel.

Frank also worked as an over-the-road truck driver, worked in the marble contracting business, and he worked for Railway Express.
His favorite hobbies were golfing, following the Cleveland Indians, and attending YSU tailgate parties and football games.
His beloved wife, Guerrina Guerra Cvetkovic, his “Italian war bride,” whom he married in 1946 after the war, passed away Jan. 27, 1999.
Frank leaves two sons, Gregory F. (Nikki) Cvetkovic of Austintown and Frank G. (Judy) Cvetkovic of Liberty Township; three grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Jim (Chrissy) Cvetkovic of Canfield, OH, Matt (Nikki) Cvetkovic of Amherst, Ohio and Adreinne (Jake) Figelman of Twinsburg, Ohio; five great-grandchildren, whom he also loved dearly, Andrew, Ally, Jillian, Evan and Reagan; and a sister, Veronica Grossi of Rootstown, OH.

Besides his wife, four brothers, Steve, John, Joe, and George Cvetkovic, and a sister, Ann Vernosky, are deceased.
Family and friends may call from noon to 2 p.m., Monday, June 8, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 North Meridian Road, Youngstown, where funeral services will take place at 2 p.m.

Committal services with military honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.

The Cvetkovic family thanks Hospice of the Valley for the professional and compassionate care provided to Frank during his final days with his family at home.
