Sorry I have been so slow with reply. I have been busy, trying to contact people for updated material and have received new information back into the 1600 and it is work investigating, seeing who fits where, and trying to make sense of items that don't fit. You can reach me at
suek@butler-bremer.com
if interested in seeing what I have obtained.

I have been putting a book together, took an extended break, (several years) and am back at it. I have some 3,500 Cuvelier family members beginning in the 1600's in France tried to follow thru the Netherlands, Oostburg, Groede, and Schoondijke areas. Then their immigration to the US and points throughout. Maybe you could help me with the European information? Sue, email me at

Hi Laura. Jules is brother to my direct ancestor Antoine. I would like to know more about Jules if possible. Perhaps we can exchange information.

I am very interested in viewing your information on the Cuvelier surname. My grandmother was from Jumet, BE. and lived with my grandfather and father in Wasmes, BE. After my grandfather died, my grandmother and father move to Iowa.
I will be anxiously awaiting your info.
Tks,
Jim Lienard
